Holidays in the
The 22 km long Gsieser valley is a side valley of the Pustertal Valley in South Tyrol. Bordered by the foothills of the Rieserferner Group and the Defregger Alps in Austria, the wide, sweeping valley is blessed by endless hours of sunshine throughout the year. As soon as you cross the threshold of the valley, the breathtaking fir and spruce forests and lush green alpine meadows fill you with a sense of peace, a sensation that only gets stronger in the three beautiful Gsieser Valley villages of Pichl, St. Martin and St. Magdalena, places where everything still seems right in the world. As part of the Kronplatz holiday region, the Gsieser Valley is a holiday paradise for people who prefer peace and quiet to the clamour and commotion of the well-known holiday resorts of South Tyrol.
